My Derby Car. By Jet

Hi, Grandma,

My pinewood derby car is very, very, very shiny. I used chrome colored paint. I designed it after one of dad's pinewood derby cars from when he was a cub scout. Mine is very fast and has a pirate skull on it. I am good at drawing pirate stuff. When you come to my house, I'll show you my awesome pirate book report. It is a movie and my class liked it a lot. Today was the last day of school and I am in 5th grade now. I went swimming at the PG pool with Jaxon. It was fun but I have a bad sunburn. Oops. Oh and it was my first time that I jumped off the diving board. Mom said next time I should do a back flip like I do off of the side of the pool. But I'll tell you a secret. My mom has never jumped off of a diving board so I beat her! We had a bet of who would do it first and now she owes me ten bucks. Oh....Yeah!

The Beach

Grandma,

Did you know that momma calls us her beach babies? She says that you have to be a beach baby when you lived in North Carolina like we did when we were babies. Lexa is a water baby and I'm a sand baby. She and Daddy always talk about how they wish they could live by the ocean. Guess what, We Wish That Too! And one more secret, We loved the beach more than Disneyland!!

Disney

Grandma,
We had so much fun at Disneyland. Here are some of the pictures from our trip.

Mom and Dad were a LITTLE tired after driving us to Disneyland.

But they still got us to Disneyland as the gates were opening the next day. Look at these cool Birthday Buttons we got to wear. People told us "Happy Birthday!" all day long.

Jetster was very excited to ride Space Mountain. We saw this funny face a lot while we were in Disneyland.
